BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND BOARD OF REGENTS:

Marymount International School is governed by the Board of Trustees of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) in Tarrytown, New York, who also govern the Marymount Schools in Paris, London, and Nomentana in Rome. The Board of Regents is made up of members of the community who share their expertise on various Board Committees. Together with the Director of the Marymount Schools in Europe and the Head of the School, they advise the Board of Trustees.

THE ADMINISTRATION:

The Head of School and the administrative team, including the Secondary School Principal (grades 6-12) and the Elementary School Principal (age 3-grade 5) oversee and lead the school in all areas, from instruction and student achievement, to school safety and community activities and involvement. Together with the Admissions Director, Early Childhood Coordinator, Dean of Students, IB Coordinator, and Curriculum Coordinator, the administrative team strives to foster a school environment in which the mission of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, "that all may have life," may be realized both within and beyond the classroom.

As Headmistress at Marymount International School of Rome, my greatest joy is observing the growth and development of our students.  Education is the primary focus at Marymount and this responsibility is taken very seriously.  The faculty, staff, administration, and parents work together as a community to achieve the mission of the Sisters of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. The reward for our effort is seeing happy students learning, maturing, and achieving their educational goals.
